Tar Heel Golfers To Play In Linger Longer Invitational

NEXT ON THE TEE
The Tar Heels head into the Linger Longer Invitational coming off a runner-up finish at the Lamkin San Diego Classic. Carolina finished with a 4-under-par 860 total and was led by sophomore Carter Jenkins who tied for fourth place at 6-under 210. Three additional Tar Heels knotted top-20 finishes as freshmen Ben Griffin and William Register tied for 10th place and sophomore Henry Do tied for 18th. The Linger Longer Invitational will take place at the prestigious Reynolds Plantation's Great Waters Golf Course which features a par 72, 7,073-yard layout. The first two rounds will be played Saturday with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. The final round will begin at 8:30 Sunday morning with teams going off the #1 and #10 tees.
