NEXT ON THE TEE
The Tar Heels head out west for their next tournament, the Lamkin San Diego Classic. The 54-hole event will be played Monday and Tuesday at San Diego Country Club which features a par 72, 7,033-yard layout. Two rounds will be played on Monday with an 8 a.m. PT shotgun start while the final 18 holes will be played Tuesday. Carolina is coming off a nonth-place finish at the Puerto Rico Classic where two players carded top-20 finishes. Sophomore Henry Do led the Tar Heels tying for 11th place with a 2-under-par 214 total and freshman Ben Griffin tied for 19th place at 1-over 217. Live scoring for the Lamkin San Diego Classic will be available on GoHeels.com and Golfstat.com.
