After a fourth place finish at the Seahawk Intercollegiate, the Carolina men's golf team turns their attention to The Aggie Invitational in Texas featuring nine of Golfstat's top 30 teams in the country.
Juniors Wiliam Register, Ben Griffin, and freshman Austin Hitt have started each tournament for the Tar Heels and will continue that streak this weekend. They are joined by junior Jose Montaño, who has started every event this spring, and senior Henry Do, who is competing in his third straight event.
Register has led the Tar Heels so far this season in stroke average and percentage of rounds counted towards the team score.
Carolina has competed at The Traditions Golf Club only once in program history, during the 2010 NCAA South Central Regional. That week, Carolina shot rounds of 301, 311, and 298 to finish in 12th place.
Tee times will be at 7:30 a.m. CDT off holes No. 1 and No. 10 both Saturday and Sunday. The teams will play 36 holes on Saturday.
Live scoring will be available on GolfStat and a round recap will be available following each day.
