LAST TIME OUT
Paris Kea picked a perfect time to score a career-high 36 points on Sunday afternoon against No. 15 Duke. Her last second three-pointer sent the game to overtime and North Carolina overcame a 19-point deficit to grab a thrilling 92-86 victory over the Blue Devils.
Duke turned it over a season-high 26 times on Sunday. Perhaps the most back breaking was Hayley Gorecki's with 23 seconds left in the fourth and Duke up 71-67. Kea would score the next time down the floor, and after Rebecca Greenwell made 1-of-2 free throws, Kea rose and fired from beyond the arc to send the game into an extra session.
Despite trailing for nearly the entire game, it was Carolina that had another gear in overtime. The Tar Heels drilled four of its 13 triples in extra time to pick up its first win in the series since 2014.

Paris Kea finished one point shy of the first triple-double in program history to lead North Carolina to a 67-58 win over Virginia on Sunday, Jan. 8, 2017 at Carmichael Arena. The redshirt sophomore had nine points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists as the Tar Heels garnered their first ACC victory of the season.
Aliyah Huland El paced Virginia with 13 points, while J'Kyra Brown had 12 and Breyana Mason added 10.
