UNC Visits Pitt Thursday

Carolina looks to continue its ascend up the ACC standings when it visits Pitt on Thursday. The Tar Heels are 15-10 overall, 6-5 in the ACC, after their 70-64 win at Clemson on Sunday. Pitt is 9-16, 0-11 in conference play. The Panthers lost to Miami on Sunday, 65-51.

The North Carolina women's basketball team fought back from a pair of significant deficits and overcame early shooting woes to pick up a 70-64 road win at Clemson in Littlejohn Coliseum on Sunday. Shayla Bennett, Paris Kea and Janelle Bailey all tied for the team-high scoring with 15 points each. Bennett's and Kea offered up 10 points apiece in the second half.

• UNC was named the NCAA.com Team of the Week after wins over Georgia Tech and previously unbeaten No. 7 NC State.Â
