Tar Heel alum Tierra Ruffin-Pratt helped Los Angeles to the No. 3 seed in the 2020 WNBA playoffs in a condensed season that wrapped up for the Sparks on Thursday. For the second year in a row, L.A. was eliminated from the playoffs by the Connecticut Sun, falling 73-59 in a second round game.

 Ruffin-Pratt played 13 minutes, providing three assists, two rebounds and a block as she returned to the court after missing the final game of the regular season with a shoulder injury.

During the 2020 season, she started 10 games and appeared in 17, averaging 14.5 minutes and 2.9 points as the Sparks went 15-7.

• Paris Kea's season ended a bit earlier as the New York Liberty failed to make the playoffs. Kea appeared in 11 games for the team after she was picked up in August. She started five games and was a key contributor by the end of the season. On Sept. 10, she scored a career-high 21 points against the Indiana Fever, her former team.
