Gymnastics Celebrates Senior Night Against West Virginia

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The No. 22 Carolina gymnastics team will celebrate a special class of five seniors prior to Friday's matchup with West Virginia. The final home meet of season is set for 6:45 p.m. in Carmichael Arena with Senior Day ceremonies set to begin following the meet. Admission is free.
Emery Summey, Julianna Love, Drew Aldridge, Shailyn St. Brice, and Leah Gneco are set to be honored in the ceremony. The Tar Heels will also honor Carolina gymnastics alumni in attendance and former head coach Derek Galvin.
Summey is from High Point Carolina and is working towards a degree in media and journalism.
St. Brice is Morrisville, N.C., and is working towards a political science degree.
Aldrige, from Los Angeles, Calf., already has her undergraduate degree from UNC and is working towards a masters in exercise and sport science.
Love is from San Diego, Calif., and is working towards a biology degree.
