Outdoor Track & Field Kicks Off Season At High Point

The University of North Carolina men's and women's outdoor track and field teams will begin their 2023 season this weekend at the Bill Webb/Bob Davidson Memorial hosted by High Point University on Friday and Saturday at Vert Stadium.
Carolina wrapped up its indoor season last weekend at the NCAA Championships. Five Tar Heels posted All-America finishes, including Parker Wolfe in the 5000m and the DMR group of Jesse Hunt, Jared Williams, Kyle Reinheimer and Ethan Strand, which took sixth place nationally.
The UNC men finished fifth at the Atlantic Coast Conference Indoor Championships, and the women were 10th.
