No. 4 Women’s Lacrosse Battles No. 5 Denver In NCAA Quarterfinals Thursday

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – Two top-5 seeds will battle it out Thursday evening in Chapel Hill, as No. 4 North Carolina takes on No. 5 Denver in the quarterfinals of the 2023 NCAA Tournament. First draw is set for 5 p.m. ET at Dorrance Field.
The game will be broadcast on ESPNU with Mike Corey and Dana Boyle on call. Tickets are available for purchase here.
NCAA Second Round Recap
Denver (21-0, 6-0 Big East) will arrive in Chapel Hill as the nation's lone undefeated team and earned respective rankings of No. 5 and No. 4 in the most recent IWLCA and USA Lacrosse Magazine polls. Carolina sits at 16-4 (7-2 ACC) on the year and is ranked No. 4 by IWLCA and No. 3 by USA Lacrosse Magazine.

NCAA Second Round Recap
- North Carolina defeated No. 17 Richmond, 16-12, in the second round after a dominant 16-5 win over Sacred Heart in the first round.
