Holding Court Radio Show Returns For 2024-25 Season

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – Back for another season, Holding Court with Courtney Banghart, the weekly radio show highlighting North Carolina women's basketball returns to the airwaves to highlight the 2024-25 Tar Heels, presented by the Tar Heel Team Store, the official retail store of UNC Athletics located at 120 East Franklin Street . A production of the Tar Heel Sports Network from Learfield, will be hosted for the third straight year at the Sheraton Chapel Hill and is open to the public.
10 in-person shows are set for the season, starting on Monday, December 2nd. After the show on December 9th, the show will resume after the holidays on each Monday from January 6th to March 3rd. Coach Banghart is featured alongside Matt Krause, play-by-play voice of Carolina women's basketball to discuss the Tar Heels and stories surrounding the team. A special lunch menu, along with beverages will be available for purchase.
Fans unable to attend the show can listen the next day as a podcast on the Tar Heel Voices Podcast Channel. The show is posted on the channel on Wednesday mornings, and episodes are archived for listening any time. Additionally, Holding Court airs on the flagship station of Carolina women's basketball, WCHL 97.9 FM/1360 AM, each week during the regular season and postseason starting in January, with the schedule posted below. A handful of special episodes will air as podcast exclusives in the coming weeks.
The Sheraton Chapel Hill, which reopened in 2021 after a $20 million renovation, is located at One Europa Drive in Chapel Hill, just off U.S. 15-501 and mere minutes from downtown and the UNC campus. Ample free parking is available. For more on the Sheraton Chapel Hill, click here.
