CAMBRIDGE, MASS. - In the final week before the Premier Lacrosse League's All-Star Break, five North Carolina men's lacrosse alums were in action, at Harvard Stadium for Cannons Homecoming Weekend.
July 5 - California Redwoods vs. Boston Cannons
Chris Gray scored three one-point goals, as the Redwoods defeated the Cannons in a low scoring affair, 9-7. For Boston, Marcus Holman scored four of his team's seven goals in the defeat. At the faceoff stripe, Zac Tucci won seven draws, collecting four ground balls.
Justin Anderson had a one-point goal and an assist, as the Outlaws fell to New York, 17-4.
July 6 - Utah Archers vs. Maryland Whipsnakes
Defensive midfielder Connor Maher had a ground ball and caused turnover, as Utah defeated Maryland, 16-11.
July 6 - Boston Cannons vs. Philadelphia Waterdogs
In the weekend finale, Marcus Holman had two one-point goals, one two-point goal and four ground balls in the win. Zac Tucci won 13-24 faceoffs (54%), adding eight ground balls in the win.
