No. 1 Women's Lacrosse Finishes Regular Season At No. 20 Duke Thursday

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – No. 1 North Carolina will finish up its regular season on Thursday when it travels to Duke for a game at 5 p.m. The Tar Heels have already clinched the ACC Regular Season Championship but are looking to complete their second consecutive undefeated season in conference play. This will be the 46th match-up between the longtime rivals with Carolina holding a 31-14 edge all-time.

- Now in her 31st season, HC Jenny Levy now has a career record of 455-131 (126-38 in the ACC). The 455 wins rank second all-time and her four National Championships rank fourth all-time.
- Carolina is currently outscoring its opponents 253-95 (+158), which leads the nation. Last season, the Tar Heels led the nation in scoring margin at +233 (384-151).
- Carolina's defense held opponents to 6.9 goals per game in 2025, which ranked first in both the ACC and NCAA. This year, the Heels are holding opponents to 7.3 goals per game, which ranks fourth nationally and first in the ACC.
- The nation's best player, Chloe Humphrey, has followed up her record-breaking freshman season with another outrageous year. Her 72 goals and 102 points lead the nation and her 30 assists are tied for 25th. Humphrey's 72 goals are tied for fourth on UNC's sinlge-season list and her 102 points rank eighth. She also leads the team with 18 caused turnovers this season. For her career, Humphrey's 162 goals are seventh all-time at UNC and her 220 points are 11th. Her 58 assists are 13th all-time in school history.
- Eliza Osburn has been stuffing the stat sheet in '26. After 13 games, Osburn has 25 goals (third on the team), 14 assists (t-third on the team), 14 groundballs, 10 caused turnovers and 26 draw controls (third on the team).
- Addison Pattillo has come into her own during her sophomore campaign. She's second on the team in goals with 40 and her 3.1 goals per game rank 31st nationally. She's also added eight assists, 14 groundballs and 14 caused turnovers.
- Kate Levy has been a stable presence for the Heels as a sophomore. She's tallied 19 goals and eight assists, while adding 20 groundballs, 16 caused turnovers (second on the team) and nine draw controls.
- Sarah Gresham and Kaleigh Harden have taken over the draw for Carolina. Gresham leads the team with 62 draw controls with Harden right behind her at 60. Thanks to this duo, the Heels rank first in the league and fifth nationally with 16.6 draw controls per game.
- Sam Forrest and Brooklyn Walker-Welch make up the most formidable defensive duo in the country. The pair, and as a result the unit, continues to make life hard on opposing offenses, allowing just 7.3 goals per game, while causing 10.7 turnovers per game. GraceAnn Leonard has also been a force this season and is tied for second on the team with 16 caused turnovers to go along with 21 groundballs and 20 draw controls.
