No. 1 Women's Lacrosse To Face Stanford In ACC Tourney Final Sunday

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – No. 1 North Carolina will play No. 11 Stanford in the ACC Tournament final at American Legion Memorial Stadium in Charlotte on Sunday at noon. The Tar Heels defeated Duke, 15-11, in the quarterfinals on Thursday and took care of Syracuse last night, 19-9, to advance. This will be the fifth all-time match-up between the two programs with UNC holding a 4-0 edge. The two teams met two weeks ago in Chapel Hill with the Tar Heels winning, 18-9.

- Now in her 31st season, HC Jenny Levy now has a career record of 458-131 (127-38 in the ACC). The 458 wins rank second all-time and her four National Championships rank fourth all-time.
- Carolina is currently outscoring its opponents 298-120 (+178), which leads the nation. Last season, the Tar Heels led the nation in scoring margin at +233 (384-151).
- Carolina's defense held opponents to 6.9 goals per game in 2025, which ranked first in both the ACC and NCAA. This year, the Heels are holding opponents to 7.5 goals per game, which ranks sixth nationally and second in the ACC.
- The nation's best player, Chloe Humphrey, has followed up her record-breaking freshman season with another outrageous year. Her 88 goals and 127 points lead the nation and her 39 assists are 21st. Humphrey's 88 goals and 127 points are both UNC single-season records. She is also tied for the team lead with 20 caused turnovers this season. For her career, Humphrey's 178 goals are sixth all-time at UNC and her 245 points are seventh. Her 67 assists are 10th all-time in school history.
- Eliza Osburn has been stuffing the stat sheet in '26. After 16 games, Osburn has 28 goals (fourth on the team), 17 assists (third on the team), 19 groundballs (t-fourth on the team), 12 caused turnovers and 33 draw controls (third on the team).
- Addison Pattillo has come into her own during her sophomore campaign. She's second on the team in goals with 46. She's also added eight assists, 16 groundballs and 15 caused turnovers (fourth on the team).
- Kate Levy has been a stable presence for the Heels as a sophomore. She's tallied 22 goals and 10 assists, while adding 24 groundballs (tied for team lead), 20 caused turnovers (tied for team lead) and nine draw controls.
- Sarah Gresham and Kaleigh Harden have taken over the draw for Carolina. The pair have tallied 84 and 72, respectively. Thanks to this duo, the Heels rank first in the league and fourth nationally with 16.6 draw controls per game.
- Sam Forrest and Brooklyn Walker-Welch make up the most formidable defensive duo in the country. They lead a unit that is allowing just 7.5 goals per game, while causing 10 turnovers per game.
