Former Marquette standout Grace Gabriel joined the North Carolina women’s lacrosse coaching staff as a volunteer assistant in September.
Gabriel’s duties include scouting, team travel, player instruction and other administrative tasks assigned by head coach Jenny Levy.
A three-year starter at Marquette and a second-team IWLCA All-American in 2018, Gabriel re-wrote the record book in Milwaukee, establishing school records in numerous categories, including single-season and career goals and single-season and career draw controls.
Gabriel graduated from Marquette in 2019 with a degree in finance. A native of Lancaster, N.Y., Gabriel was twice named Big East Co-Midfielder of the Year and was a three-time Big East and IWLCA All-Academic team selection.
