NORFOLK, Va. - The third-ranked Tigers of Princeton topped #5 North Carolina, 4-3 Saturday afternoon in a neutral site contest at Old Dominion University's Foreman Field. With the win, the Tigers improve to 13-2 while the Tar Heels fall to 12-5.

North Carolina jumped out to an early 2-0 lead behind goals from Katie McDonald and Nancy Pelligreen. the Tar Heels scored 12 seconds into action and held the 2-0 lead until 1:45 left in the half.

Princeton tied the game on a goal by Alison Morris and then took the lead on a goal by Hilary Matson. Matson struck again just over two minutes into overtime for the victory.

North Carolina faces #1 Old Dominion Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m.
