A native of Macungie, Pa., McCann started out the week with a hat trick against ACC foe Wake Forest on Tuesday, Oct. 10. Against No. 5 Michigan on Friday, Oct. 13., McCann scored two goals in a 4-0 shutout. In a conference match at No. 10 Virginia on Sunday, Oct. 15, McCann tallied two more goals-including the game-winner-as the Tar Heels shut out the Cavaliers, 3-0.
