Wachovia Challenge Attendance Event a Success on Sunday

The Tar Heel field hockey team beat Virginia 3-1 Sunday in the first Wachovia Challenge attendance event of the 2000-2001 season.
The attendance of 621 easily surpassed the goal of 250 that was set for the contest, which was played at Henry Stadium. Wachovia would like to thank all the fans that came out to support the Tar Heels.
Wachovia is proud to foster the growth of women's sports at UNC through its Wachovia World of Women's Sports.
