Field Hockey Players Honored Among Conference's Best

On Sept. 27, the University of North Carolina athletic department hosted a dinner for all UNC athletes honored as members of ACC 50th anniversary teams.
Of 20 Carolina field hockey players named among the best in conference history in that sport, eight attended the dinner, which was held at the Friday Center.
The weekend's festivities continued on Saturday, when UNC hosted its annual Monogram Day picnic and introduced members of the ACC 50 teams at halftime of the UNC-Georgia Tech football game.
