Tar Heels In Fourth Place At The International Collegiate

ST. ANDREWS, SCOTLAND - The University of North Carolina men's golf team kicked off its fall season at The International Collegiate in Scotland and is in fourth place with a 294 total after the first round of play. Wake Forest leads the field of 11 teams with a which consists of six teams from the United States and five from England. The Demon Decons carded a 286 total while R&A Bursars is in second place at 290 and Stirling University is third at 293.
Scott Godfrey fired a 67 and leads the all individuals. Tar Heel senior Ramon Bescansa is in second place after posting a 70. Carolina's Dustin is tied for eighth place at 72 while Jeremy Elliott is tied for 19th at 75, Brad Moldin is tied for 30th at 77 and Bob Cherry is tied for 43rd with a 79.
The second round will be played today while the final round will be take place Saturday at the Torrence Course at the St. Andrews Bay Resort.
