UNC Field Hockey Celebrates Senior Day

The North Carolina field hockey program honored its five seniors before the start of the Oct. 3 game against Radford, the final regular-season contest of the year. Laura Douglas, Kerry Falgowski, Carey Fetting-Smith, Kelsey Keeran and Katy Potter received roses and balloons from the coaching staff and applause from the crowd prior to the beginning of the game.
Every senior except Keeran scored points in the game, a 9-0 Tar Heel win. Keeran, the team's leading scorer, started but played only sparingly because of an injury.
