She was the recipient of the team's Athletic Director's Scholar-Athlete Award for 2004-05.
Tran, a junior from Grantville, Pa., started at goalkeeper in every game last season as UNC won the Atlantic Coast Conference Championship. She earned All-ACC and All-ACC Tournament honors and led the conference with an 0.77 goals against average. A biology/exercise and sport science double major, Tran is a recipient of the 2005 ACC Top Six for Service Award and coordinates UNC's freshman student-athlete mentoring program, among other campus and community involvement.
Trusty, a senior from Baltimore, was named EAGL Senior of the Year after earning all-conference honors in vault, uneven bars, floor exercise and all-around.
