The UNC field hockey team earned itself a spot in Sunday's ACC Championship game with a 3-0 win over No. 19 Virginia Friday in the conference tournament semifinals. On a chilly afternoon in Newton, Mass., Katelyn Falgowski, Laree Beans and Danielle Forword scored goals for the top-ranked Tar Heels, who improved to 19-0 and picked up their 13th shutout of the season. Carolina will meet either Maryland or Wake Forest for the title on Sunday at 1.
