No. 4 Carolina Hosts Wake Forest On Senior Night

CHAPEL HILL --- North Carolina (26-2) concludes the home portion of its schedule when the Tar Heels host Wake Forest Thursday night at Carmichael Auditorium at 7. The game will be the final home appearance for seniors Ivory Latta and Camille Little. Carolina is coming off a 93-70 win over Miami on Sunday. The Tar Heels are ranked No. 2 in the nation in both polls for the 15th straight week. Wake Forest is 9-17 after a 56-42 loss to Boston College on Sunday. The Demon Deacons are unranked.

WAKE FOREST SERIES NOTES
North Carolina is 52-12 all-time against Wake Forest, including a 25-3 mark in Chapel Hill.
Carolina has won three straight in the series, including a 91-57 win last year in Winston-Salem.
Wake Forest's last win in the series came during the 2003-04 season. The Demon Deacons defeated the Tar Heels 69-67 in Winston-Salem.
UNC owns two lengthy winning streaks in the series. The Tar Heels won the first 24 meetings from 1974-1987 and then 18 straight from 1992-1999.
SCOUTING WAKE FOREST
After opening the season 8-2, Wake Forest has dropped 14 of 15, including five straight. The Demon Deacons are the only remaining winless team in the Atlantic Coast Conference.
Wake Forest is led in scoring by Yolanda Lavender (17.1 points per game).
Corinne Groves currently leads the Demon Deacons in rebounding with 9.3 boards per game. Groves, however, is out indefinitely after sustaining a lower back injury in the Boston College game.
