Casey Burns, a back from Chapel Hill, is a junior in eligibility but a senior academically. She'll graduate in May, so this weekend is her last in a Carolina field hockey uniform. She checked in from Winston-Salem to update Tar Heel fans on the team's final four trip.

Wednesday morning we all went to class as usual and turned up for practice at 1. After some film and practice we got our stuff together to leave for Wake Forest. Although we were skeptical of leaving as early as Wednesday, by the end of our last practice at Henry Stadium, we were all anxious to head to Winston-Salem.

Upon arrival we quickly headed to a fantastic dinner at a local steakhouse where most of us enjoyed lobster. After dinner we returned to the hotel and settled in for some rest.
