The UNC field hockey team will be featured on the 2011 NCAA Fall Sports Highlight Show, which will air Sunday at 1 p.m. on CBS. The one-hour program will include highlights from the cross country, field hockey, soccer, water polo and volleyball championships this fall.

Carolina reached the NCAA field hockey title game for the third year in a row. After winning the crown in 2009, the Tar Heels have been the national runner-up the past two seasons, falling to Maryland in overtime in both 2010 and 2011.

The Dec. 25 show is the 28th edition of CBS Sports Presents Championships of the NCAA. Each seasonal show features highlights and unique NCAA student-athlete stories from a variety of NCAA Division I, II and III championships.
