Program Alums Named to U.S. Roster For New Zealand Tour

Five Tar Heels are part of the 21-player roster selected to represent the U.S. on a six-match tour of New Zealand later in October. U.S. Women's National Team members named to the roster for this trip are Jackie (Kintzer) Briggs, Rachel Dawson, Katelyn Falgowski, Kelsey Kolojejchick and Caitlin Van Sickle.
The squad is currently training at Spooky Nook Sports in Lancaster, Pa., in preparation for the trip. Games are set for Oct. 17, 18, 21, 23, 24 and 25 and will be played at three sites: Stratford, Palmterson North And Wairarapa. New Zealand, known as the Black Sticks, is ranked fourth in the world rankings while the U.S. is eighth.
