Tar Heels To Host Annual Spring Tournament Saturday

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - UNC is set to host the annual Carolina Spring Volleyball Tournament this Saturday, April 12, at Carmichael Arena.
UNC will host five teams for 12 total matches on two courts. Tournament participants are: UNC, Duke, NC State, Elon, Charlotte and UNCW. Attendance is free for all matches.
The Tar Heels will also hold their annual spring banquest on Sunday, April 13. The banquet will be held at noon in the Pope Box at Kenan Stadium with special guest speaker Camilla Ihenetu, a 2006 UNC volleyball alumna.
In just over a month, the Tar Heels will head to overseas for their third European Exhibition Tour. UNC will travel and play in six cities in Turkey and Italy, having the opportunity to compete against some of the top teams in Europe as well as have a great educational and cultural experience.
