U.S. Teams Fare Well As Kolojejchick Earns Landmark Cap

The U.S. National Team and Under-21 National Team, each with five Tar Heels on the roster, are off to a strong start in a week of international competition in Lancaster, Pa.
Playing at Spooky Nook Sports complex, the National Team has earned two 1-1 ties with Argentina. After games on Friday and Saturday, the team has a rest day on Sunday and will play Monday and Wednesday, with both games set for 6:30 p.m.
Friday's game marked the 50th international cap for UNC alum Kelsey Kolojejchick.
The Under-21 team has beaten Canada twice, 6-0 on Thursday and 4-3 on Friday. Games are on tap for Sunday at 6 p.m. and Monday at 11:45 a.m.
Tar Heels on the National Team roster are Jackie Kintzer Briggs, Rachel Dawson, Katelyn Falgowski, Kolojejchick and Caitlin Van Sickle.
Playing for the U-21 team are Kristy Bernatchez, Emma Bozek, Ashley Hoffman, Lauren Moyer and Julia Young.
