Alexander Wins Gold At World University Games

Gwangju, South Korea—The University of North Carolina's Nicole Alexander, a staff athletic trainer with the Tar Heel women's basketball and men's tennis teams, won a gold medal last week while working with the USA Basketball Women's World University Games Team.
Team USA (6-0) took a three-point lead into the fourth quarter before nearly doubling up Canada (5-1) in the final 10 minutes of the game, scoring 34 points in the period, to secure an 82-63 triumph in the 2015 World University Games championship game on July 13. The gold medal is the USA women's sixth in a row and 10th overall in World University Games history.
