Three Tar Heels Named To Under-21 National Team

Three UNC field hockey players have been named to the USA Field Hockey Under-21 Women's National Team, announced Monday. Ashley Hoffman, Lauren Moyer and Julia Young were named to the 22-member squad.
Hoffman is a freshman from Mohton, Pa. Moyer is a junior from York, Pa. Young is a junior from Yorktown, Va. All three are returning members of the squad.
The team will hold training camp weekends in November, February and March in preparation for the Junior Pan American Championship March 29-April 10 in Trinidad & Tobago. That tournament is a qualifier for the Junior World Cup, set for November of 2016.
