Tar Heels Travel To ODU Satuday, Celebrate Seniors Sunday

The fifth-ranked North Carolina field hockey team kicks off the final weekend of the regular season on Saturday with a 2 p.m. game at Old Dominion. The Tar Heels bring a 13-4 record to Norfolk, Va., while the Lady Monarchs are 7-8 overall.
ODU will celebrate Senior Day prior to the contest at L.R. Hill Sports Complex.
On Sunday it will be UNC's turn to honor its seniors. The Tar Heels host Appalachian State, which is coached by Carolina alum Meghan Dawson, for a 1 p.m. game. UNC's seniors will be recognized prior to the final regular-season game at Francis E. Henry Stadium.
Those being honored on Senior Day are: Kristy Bernatchez (Belgrade, Maine), Emma Bozek (Cortlandt Manor, N.Y.), Blissie Du Bose (Charlottesville, Va.), Shannon Johnson (Ocean Port, N.J.), Lauren Moyer (York, Pa.), Sam Night (Houston, Texas), Caroline Plyler (Charlotte, N.C) and Julia Young (Yorktown, Va.).
