• Last year, UNC won 70-64 in Clemson, S.C., on Feb. 10, 2019. Janelle Bailey and Shayla Bennett joined then-senior Paris Kea in scoring 15 points each as the Tar Heels started the fourth quarter down a point and outscored the Tigers 20-13 in the final 10 minutes to claim the win.
• In the last meeting at Carmichael, on Jan. 11, 2018, UNC won 59-52. Janelle Bailey, then a freshman, had a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds. Taylor Koenen had a team-high 12 boards in the Tar Heel win.

• Taylor Koenen is just the fifth player in program history to total 1,000 points, 700 rebounds and 300 assists. (The four players who previously reached those marks – Tonya Sampson, Erlana Larkins, Rashanda McCants and La'Tangela Atkinson – all went on to play professionally in the WNBA or ABL.)
• Against Miami, Shayla Bennett had seven assists and no turnovers.
• Janelle Bailey's 28 points vs. Miami marked the most by a Tar Heel this season. Her 17 rebounds in the home game against Viriginia is a team high for boards.

• The Tar Heels have not won this season when the opponent has scored 70 points or more points and have only lost once when scoring 70+ (83-77 at Alabama).
