Bruder Earns ACC FH Honors

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – North Carolina forward Charly Bruder has been named the Atlantic Coast Conference Field Hockey Offensive Player of the Week, while Duke goalkeeper Frederique Wollaert was named the ACC Defensive Player of the Week for games played September 30 to October 6.
Bruder finished the Tar Heels' two-game trip to the West Coast with four goals and two assists, including a hat trick on Sunday, October 5, at No. 20 California. On Friday, October 3, Bruder assisted on North Carolina's first goal of the day at Stanford. The Malvern, Pennsylvania, native scored on a penalty corner for the second goal of the day before adding a second assist to propel the Tar Heels to a 3-0 victory. On Sunday, the sophomore scored all three goals as the top-ranked Tar Heels took down their sixth ranked opponent of the season with the win at Cal.
The honor is Bruder's second of the season.
