Track & Field Teams Start NCAA Regionals Wednesday

23 members of the Tar Heel track and field teams will compete in Lexington, Kentucky, for the 2024 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field East First Rounds. Twelve UNC women and thirteen men have qualified to compete in fourteen events, to be held Wednesday through Saturday. All four days will be streamed on Watch ESPN.
The University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky, will host the East First Round, and the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Arkansas, will host the West First Round. The qualifiers out of these two regions will compete in the NCAA Division I Men's and Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championships held June 5-8 in Eugene, Oregon, hosted by the University of Oregon.
