Men's Lacrosse Hosts Butler Saturday

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - The 12th-ranked North Carolina men's lacrosse team will be back on friendly home turf for the first time in 27 days on Saturday when Coach John Haus' Tar Heels host the Butler Bulldogs at 1 p.m. at Fetzer Field.
Carolina is coming off successive road wins at Navy and at Delaware and the Tar Heels bring a 3-1 record into the game. Butler is 2-2 overall. The Bulldogs lost last month at Duke 12-4 and they are coming off a 21-8 loss at Georgetown this past Wednesday.
Saturday's game will included a youth scrimmage at halftime involving teams from the Triangle Area Lacrosse League. Saturday's scrimmage will involve players in the third, fourth and fifth grades.
utler begins a two-game homestand for the Tar Heels. Carolina opens its 2001 Atlantic Coast Conference season at Fetzer Field next Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
