BALTIMORE, MD. - This week's national men's lacrosse polls find the North Carolina Tar Heels ranked 14th, 15th and 16th in the various polls. The Tar Heels are 14th in this week's STX/ U.S. Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association coaches poll, 15th in the Brine/360Lacrosse.com media poll and 16th in the Warrior/InsideLacrosse.com media poll.
Maryland is the new #1 team in the USILA poll while Syracuse returned to the top of both the media polls after a week off as the nation's top team.
Here is the STX/USILA coaches poll for March 26, 2001. Maryland received six first place votes in the poll while Syracuse and Georgetown received two first place votes each.

The following is the Warrior / InsideLacrosse.com Division I Men's Lacrosse Media Poll for March 26, 2001.
There's a new No. 1 again in the poll this week after Princeton, which held the top spot for one week, fell to Syracuse. The Orangemen regained the No. 1 spot, where they started the season.
Maryland also received three No. 1 votes after moving to 6-0 and earned the No. 2 spot. Notre Dame suffered its first loss of the season to Hofstra and dropped from No. 3 to No. 6.
