CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - The 2001 University of North Carolina men's lacrosse brochure was named the second best single sports brochure in the Southeast Region in judging this year by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). Carolina's lacrosse publications have been honored on a regular basis over the past two decades by the CoSIDA publications contest committee.
The men's lacrosse brochure was the second of Carolina's brochures to be honored by CoSIDA committees this year. The swimming and diving brochure was chosen as the second best multi-sport guide in the nation by CoSIDA earlier this year.
The men's lacrosse and swimming brochures were both edited by associate athletic communications director Dave Lohse who will begin his 25th year in that role at UNC beginning on September 1, 2001. Assistant editors on the swimming brochure were sports information student assistants Hal Wansley and Brad Kline, both also members of the Tar Heel men's swimming team.
