CHAPEL HILL, N.C.--University of North Carolina men's lacrosse coach Joe Breschi sat down Wednesday afternoon to talk with associate athletic communications director Dave Lohse in the first podcast of the 2011-12 school year. Breschi touched on a number of subjects as UNC winds up fall ball play in the next couple of weeks.
Breschi discussed the arrival of his second full recruiting class on campus in August along with the excitement surrounding transfers Jack McBride and Davey Emala. He also took a look ahead at the scrimmages the next two weekends versus Ohio State and Bucknell.
Breschi also gave a full recap of the exciting Alumni Weekend activities from this past weekend and he gave fans a glimpse of the excitement surrounding the team's move into its new offices and locker room a few weeks ago.
The Tar Heels travel to Baltimore this weekend to play Ohio State Sunday at noon at Calvert Hall College High School in Towson, Md. Tickets for the scrimmage are $5 and all proceeds will go to the Michael Breschi Scholarship Fund at The Ohio State University.
UNC will also scrimmage Bucknell University on Sunday, October 16 at 11 a.m. at Navy Field in Chapel Hill.
