Cook, Anderson Picked In PLL Draft

The Tar Heels, both midfielders, were among 32 picks in the four-round, eight-team draft.
Cook, who is from Courtice, Ontario, was the seventh Atlantic Coast Conference player selected, near the end of round two. A fifth-year player for the Tar Heels, he has 22 goals (third on the team) and nine assists this season. He was a mid-season first-team All-America selection by Inside Lacrosse.
Anderson, from Las Vegas, Nev., was the fourth pick in round three. Another fifth-year player and a third-year team captain, he has 18 goals and six assists through 12 games this season. He was an honorable mention pick for the Inside Lacrosse mid-season All-America team.
CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – Two members of the UNC men's lacrosse team were selected Monday night in the Premier Lacrosse League's 2021 Draft. Tanner Cook went 15th overall to the Chaos and Justin Anderson went 20th overall to the Chrome.

Next up for the Tar Heels is their final regular-season game, at home on Sunday against Duke. The game is at Kenan Stadium and starts at 4 p.m.
