Vazquez Named ACC Women's Diver Of The Week For Third Time

GREENSBORO, N.C. – For the third time this season, University of North Carolina junior Aranza Vazquez has been selected as the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Women's Diver of the Week.
Vazquez scored above 300 and earned NCAA zone scores in both her dives at the Tennessee Invitational, competing among three ranked teams and multiple ACC divers. The La Paz, Mexico, native placed second in the 1-meter with her score of 319.00, finishing first among five ACC divers in that event. She also placed second in the 3-meter event with a season-best 375.00, the top score among six ACC divers in that event.
She has been the recipient of the weekly award six times since arriving on campus ahead of the 2020-21 season.
