Swimming And Diving Announces 2024-25 Schedule

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The University of North Carolina swimming and diving team will compete in nine regular season meets, highlighted by four home meets in Koury Natatorium this season.
The Tar Heels open their season at Queens University of Charlotte on Sept. 27 for a swimming-only meet at noon EST.

A month later, UNC will host two Southeastern Conference squads, South Carolina and Auburn, on Oct. 25 and 26 at noon EST. Then, on Nov. 1, they will take on conference foe and perennial power Virginia at 4 p.m. EST.

Swimming will close out November with the South Carolina Invitational from Nov. 20-22 for its midseason invite. Diving will travel to Dallas for the SMU Diving Invitational from Nov. 21-23.

The Tar Heel divers will welcome the New Year in Athens, Georgia, with the UGA Diving Invitational on Jan. 5-7 at 9 a.m. EST.

On Jan. 10, the rivalry week kicks off as UNC hosts Duke (4 p.m. EST) on Jan.10 before heading to Raleigh to take on the Wolfpack a week later on Jan. 17 to close out the regular season at noon EST.Â
The Atlantic Coast Conference will then host the conference championship in Greensboro from Feb. 18-22.

North Carolina will head to the Pacific Northwest for the NCAA National Championships in Federal Way, Wash. The women will compete Mar. 19-22. The men will follow on Mar. 26-29.
Aranza Vazquez, a two-time Olympian, will try to defend her four diving national championships from the past two years. 2024 Paris Olympian Patrick Hussey will look to build on his impressive 2023-24
campaign with another appearance in the NCAA Championships.
