Timmy Gehlbach
Breschi on Gehlbach: A D middie…we’re hoping to get some good minutes out of him this year...a very good athlete…needs to continue to play with confidence.
2017 (Junior): Saw action in four games…recorded an assist in the Dartmouth game…had a ground ball against Furman.
2016 (Sophomore): Played in 16 games last year...had seven ground balls and two caused turnovers...had a career high three ground balls versus UMass.
2015 (Freshman): Played in three games his freshman year, seeing action against Furman, UMass and Manhattan...scored first goal of his career in win over Manhattan.
High School: Attended Lake Brantley High School in Altamonte Springs, Fla., where he played for coach Dwayne Crowley…named offensive MVP and overall team MVP in 2013...2014 lacrosse team captain…Seminole County and Brighthorse Orlando Player of the Year… Under Armour All-America in 2012 and 2013…high school All-America in 2013…Lake Brantley was four-time district champions (2010-14) during his time at school and a playoff participant four times…squad made it to the final four in the state in 2010…junior coach for football and lacrosse...made several top camp appearances with SweetLax and played on a team which finished in first place in 2013 Dick’s Tournament of Champions...Team Florida member.

My favorite thing about wearing Carolina Blue is the feeling of family.
I love competing for this incredible coaching staff because they are passionate.
My most underrated strength about my lacrosse game is my celebrations.
My best friend on my high school lacrosse team was Hiram Carter and he is now playing at Navy.
Every high school recruit should dream of becoming a Tar Heel because of excellence.
Section #2: Your Interests
An ideal Saturday afternoon in the summer is spent by the pool.
My teammate with the best taste in music is Mike Guerin because he is fearless.
My favorite professional sports team is the the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The best movie I’ve ever seen on a lacrosse bus trip is Shutter Island.
The foreign country I would love to visit most is Spain because of my friend Alfonsito.

My favorite tailgate foods are wings and pop.
My favorite fast food restaurant is Taco Bell because it is delicious.
Sweet, salty or both? Both.
My favorite food made by a relative is Mom’s chicken parmesan.

If I possessed the gift of time travel, I’d go to the past to ride a dinosaur.
The person in history I would most want to have dinner with is Nick Tesla.
People would be very surprised to know I collect Pokemon cards.
In a quarter century I would love to be living in Kitchener, Ontario and working at the Cloutinerie.
The most interesting or fascinating person I’ve met in my time at UNC is Brian Cannon because he once slept for three days straight.
