General: Returning letter winner who will take over an even greater role in the distance freestyle corps with the graduations of Katura Harvey and Ashley Miller...swam on the Carolina 800-yard freestyle relay which set a new school record in the event in 2011...an excellent freestyler who excels at distances from the sprints through the longer events...also an excellent backstroker.
2010-11 (Freshman): Finished in the Top 8 in two events at the ACC Championships...qualified for NCAA Championships as a member of the Tar Heels' 800-yard freestyle relay...at the ACC meet she had a trio of Top 10 finishes...also swam on Carolina's 800 free relay which finished second in the league...individually she was seventh in the 1650 freestyle at 16:27.85, eighth in the 200 freestyle at 1:48.90 and 10th in the 500 freestyle at 4:44.73.
Prep: An alumna of Sacred Heart Academy in Hempstead, N.Y. ... was graduated on June 5, 2010...swam four years in high school in the 200 and 500 freestyles...coached in high school by Mary White and in club swimming by Dave Ferris...is the state federation record holder in the 200 free...won both the 200 and 500 freestyles at states her freshman and sophomore years...led high school team to league championship in 2009...placed third in the August 2009 Junior Nationals in the 800-meter freestyle...was on the National Junior Team trip to Melbourne, Australia in December 2007-January 2008...placed second in the 1500-meter freestyle at that event...also traveled for a National Youth Team to Barcelona, Spain where she competed in the 800-meter freestyle...competed in the 2008 Olympic Trials in the 200- , 400- and 800-meter freestyles...led club team to a second place finish at the 2009 Junior Nationals in Seattle...National Honor Society member.

Section #1: Swimming & Diving
1. The best thing about being a Tar Heel swimmer is representing a great university and having awesome teammates!
2. My favorite thing about competing for Coach DeSelm is the level of energy he puts into every practice.
3. Since last year the aspect of my training I've worked on the most is my breathing in and out of the walls.
4. My best friend on another college swimming team is Kristen Krebs at Georgetown University.
5. My greatest strength as a swimmer is my ability to have speed even though I train mostly distance.
Section #2: Hobbies & Interests
1. Away from the pool and academic pursuits I like to spend time at the beach or shopping.
2. The best movie I've seen recently is Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2.
3. If I could compete in another sport at UNC it would be soccer.
4. The music act I'd most like to see in person is Nicki Minaj.
5. The personal interest I have that might surprise my teammates is reading.
Section #3: Food & Beverage
1. After a big meet, I'd like to eat at a buffet spread that included steak and mashed potatoes.
2. My favorite beverage is Diet Coke.
3. My favorite food made by a relative is my Aunt Laurie's scalloped potatoes.

1. If I possessed the gift of time travel I'd like to go to any time prior to my junior year of high school.
