General: Two-year letter winner is one of the Tar Heels' top butterfliers...also adds depth in the sprint freestyles and relays.
2006-07: Achieved a career best time in the 200-yard butterfly in the meet at Virginia...at the ACC Championships, she finished 15th in the 100-yard fly and 14th in the 200 fly...tapped for 2006-07 ACC Academic Honor Roll...qualified for Dean's List in fall semester 2006.
2005-06: One of the team's most reliable butterfliers and sprint freestylers as a freshman...at the ACC meet, she was one of Carolina's top finishers in the 200-yard butterfly, taking 12th after posting a career-best time in the preliminaries...scored key points with a 14th place finish in the 100-yard butterfly...took 15th place in the 50-yard freestyle, notching a career-best 23.74 time in the preliminaries...swam a 23.37 split as the third leg of the fifth-place 200-yard freestyle relay team...was a double event winner in the dual meet versus NC State, taking the 50-yard freestyle and 100-yard butterfly...made the Dean's List during the fall semester...named to ACC Academic Honor Roll...was recognized as the team's outstanding strength and conditioning performer.
Prep: Graduated from Durham Academy on June 3, 2005...swam for two years at Durham Academy and two years at Northwood High School before transferring to DA prior to her junior year...was a two-time NISCA All-America in the 100-yard butterfly...also named All-America in the 50-yard free...Durham Academy team captain and MVP her senior season...won North Carolina 1A/2A state championship in the 50 free and 100 fly while swimming at Northwood in 2002...a year later, she was the 1A/2A champion in both of those events, setting state records in both...was also named the state meet MVP...a YMCA All-America selection from 2001-05...a member of both the National Honor Society and National Spanish Honor Society...NISCA Academic All-America in 2003 at Northwood in the 50 free and 100 fly and again in 2005 while at Durham Academy.
