Two Lacrosse Players Chosen For North-South Game

BALTIMORE, MD. - In the same week when they were named to the United States Intercollegiatie Lacrosse Association All-America team, University of North Carolina seniors Jeff Sonke and Bobby Gormsen were both named Thursday to the South roster for the annual Division I North-South senior all-star game.
This year's all-star game will be played on Saturday, June 9 at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, N.Y.
Earlier this week both Carolina seniors were named by the USILA to the 2001 All-America Team. Sonke was named second-team All-America on attack and Gormsen was tapped for honorable mention status on defense. Both made the exact same All-America teams as juniors in 2000 as well.
