CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - The 2000-01 University of North Carolina swimming and diving brochure was named the nation's second best in judging by the College Sports Information Directors of America multi-sport media guides contest.
The covers of the media guide were voted the nation's best in the multi-sport media guide contest by the four-member judging panel named by CoSIDA's publications contest committee.
The 2000-01 guide was edited by associate athletic communication director Dave Lohse, along with office student assistants Hal Wansley and Brad Kline, both members of the 2000-01 UNC men's swimming team.
The covers were the work of graphic artist Philip Buiser, a 2001 graduate of the University of North Carolina.
