Pigot Represents Suriname At Worlds

KAZAN, RUSSIA - Zuhayr Pigot, an incoming freshman swimmer at the University of North Carolina, is currently in Kazan, Russia competing in the FINA World Championships.
Pigot, from Miami, Fla., is a Suriname citizen and will be competing for his native country in the prestigious meet which runs from July 24-August 9 in Kazan, Russia. All swimming competition will be held at the Kazan Arena Stadium.
Pigot will compete in the men's 50-meter butterfly on Sunday, August 2.
He will also compete in the men's 100-meter butterfly which is slated for Friday, August 7.
