Women's/Diving ACC Championships: Day 4
February 22, 2020 | Swimming & Diving
The ACC Championships for women and diving concluded Saturday evening, and North Carolina's women finished fourth in the conference. The men's diving scores, which put the men third on the leaderboard, will be added to the men's swimming competition taking place Wednesday through Saturday.
Â
Outstanding performances Saturday included Emily Grund placing fifth in women's platform diving, Caroline Hauder and Emma Cole placing fourth and eighth in the 100 freestyle, Bryanna Cameron placing eighth in the 200 butterfly, and the women placing fourth in the 400 freestyle relay.
Â
The Tar Heel women have a week off of competition before two last-chance meets at home on March 1st and March 7th in hopes of sending more athletes to the NCAA Championships later in March. In that time, UNC's men's team will compete in the ACC Championships at Greensboro Aquatic Center on February 26th through 29th.
