Carolina Wraps Up Successful Zone Championships

ATHENS, Ga. — The NCAA Zone B Diving Championships came to a close on Wednesday with men's and women's platform events. Sophomore Emily Grund finished 15th on the women's side to wrap up a successful week for the Tar Heels.

Grund and freshman Fabian Stepinski both qualified for the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships that is scheduled to take place over the next two weeks.

Grund will compete in both the one- and three-meter events in Athens, Ga. The one-meter is slated for March 19 and the three-meter on March 20.

Stepinski also qualified for the one- and three-meter diving event that will take place in Indianapolis, Ind.
