"We're going against the best competition in the world in NC State and Virginia," said head coach Mark Gangloff. "There are areas we need to improve upon and be a little sharper in some of our races, but that's why we scheduled this meet: to put ourselves up against the best so we can become the best."
The Tar Heels are back in action for the second session of the two-day tri-meet tomorrow at the Willis R. Casey Aquatic Center on NC State's campus, with diving beginning at 10 a.m. ET and swimming set for 11 a.m. The meet will be streamed on ACCNX with live results available on Meet Mobile.
Saturday's competition will see the 200 medley relay, 1000 freestyle, 200 freestyle, 100 backstroke, 100 freestyle, 100 breaststroke, 100 butterfly, 200 IM and 400 freestyle relay as well as 1-meter diving.Â
